Welcome to Chicago!
No matter where you’re coming from, we think you’re going to love Chicago! Chicago is an amazing city that offers a lot of fun things to see and do, especially in the summer months, so plan to come early and stay late.
There are a variety of ways to get to the Chicago Congress, we advise you to do your research. We have provided some links below that might be helpful in navigating your way to the ‘Windy City’.
Chicago has two International airports, O’Hare and Midway. O’Hare International Airport is closer to Loyola University with easy transportation by train, bus, cab or Uber. But for those Southwest Airlines fliers coming from the States, Midway is the airport to use.
We suggest you book early in order to get the best rate for your travel. We will be updating this page with more travel information over the next several months…
Chicago O’Hare Airport:
O’Hare Airport is the nearest airport to Loyola University, Lake Shore Campus. Its website will give you the information you need to see which airlines fly into Chicago O’Hare, terminal maps, and getting from the airport to Loyola via train, taxi or rental car, plus more…
Chicago Midway Airport:
Chicago Midway airport is little further away from Loyola University, Lake Shore Campus, but is a hub for Southwest Airlines. Southwest has some great rates if you’re flying within the United States. The Midway site will help you find the right transportation for you to get to the Loyola University by train, bus, rental car or Uber.
We have added a link to Loyola University. It will take you to ‘residence life’ section. You can check out the campus, the dorms, getting around Chicago, and other places to stay. It’s really a lovely campus, set right on the shores of Lake Michigan.
As always Google map can give you directions and help you get an idea of where things are in the Chicago area. If you’re not staying on Campus, the map will help you to see the campus location so that you don’t pick a place that is too far away.
